Rio Sail Grand Prix 2027
About this Event
Rio returns for a second season after SailGP's South American debut there in April 2026, again racing in Guanabara Bay off Praia do Flamengo.
It remains the only South American stop on the calendar and falls in the closing stretch of the season, a similar late-season slot to its position on the 2026 calendar.
It's the home event for Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team, driven by Martine Grael, whose family has a long competitive sailing history in Brazil.
