About this Event
MomoCon is a prominent multi-genre fan convention held annually in Atlanta, Georgia, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025. The event encompasses a wide array of pop culture elements, including Japanese anime, American animation, comics, video games, tabletop games, and cosplay.
- Dates: May 22–25, 2025
- Location: Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), Building B, with connected accommodations at the Omni Atlanta and Hilton Signia hotels
- Theme: “90s Retro,” featuring a roller skating rink, expanded arcade and online gaming areas, and the return of the “Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC)” section
MomoCon offers a diverse range of activities and events:
- Gaming: Over 300,000 square feet dedicated to arcades, esports stages, PC and LAN gaming, console tournaments, free play areas, board and card games, RPGs, and LARP
- Panels and Workshops: Sessions covering topics from animation and comics to gaming and cosplay
- Live Entertainment: Concerts, karaoke, AMV screenings, and late-night EDM events
- Cosplay: Showcases, contests, and photo opportunities
- Exhibitor Hall: 300,000 square feet featuring vendors, celebrity autograph sessions, and displays from international and indie game developers
The 2025 convention is expected to host over 100 guests from various industries, including animation, gaming, comics, cosplay, and online content creation .
