How do I add the "Follow Calendar" button on my WordPress website

Adding the "Follow Calendar" button on your WordPress website depends on how it's built / setup. It's very easily done, but often requires help from a developer / webmaster.

If you would like to add the button to a specific page which you have access to yourself, try below guide.

  • Go to the "Share" section on CalendarX and locate the "Follow button for a website" section
  • Copy the button code from the "Configure a pre-built button" section or the "Custom button and popup" section
  • Navigate to the page where you want to add the button on your own website
  • In the "Editor" (the place where you type in text), create some "dummy text"
  • Most "Editors" have a "Source" / "View Source" / "Text" button available. Click that button. Now you should see HTML code instead of the usual text
  • Locate the "dummy text", delete it and paste the copied button code (replacing the "dummy text")
  • Toogle the "Source" / "Text" button again. The button should now appear in the "Editor".

Your WordPress website could vary from the common standard WordPress installation, and your user can be limited to only have access to a few things. If the above procedure doesn't apply to your website, please contact the responsible parties in your organization to get help.
